Software overview:
Snagit is the screen casting software which will allow you to record your screen activity. This is a very much useful tool for making the video earn money. This is the free software. It has all the basic functions which require making the video. This software you can use in the office for training & development purpose. It is easy to capture and record the problem. Video Capture

It is very easy to capture the video. even you can capture the video for part of the screen. It supports region capture. So you can select the region before start recording. You can disable or enable the cursor display. if you are watching movie online then you can view and record the video. You can record the video while playing video games.

Audio capture
While recording video of computer activity you can record your voice also. So you can speak about the activity you are doing which will help the watcher to understand the activity more clearly. Here also you can select the region to capture. You can capture the image from any internet page. You can use this image to prepare the document. You need not write and you can save your time.
Custom Scroll
Custom scroll mode in it is often used to capture information from the internet. It has many advantages. Generally we search in google to get some information but we will not save it. Snagit software will allow you to capture the complete website page in a single image. This will help you store the information.
Image Editor
Addition to video capture it has many other features also. Snagit has inbuilt Image editor. Image editor has all the required features. You resize the Image. You can convert the Image type. Mean you can convert the BMP Image to jpg or PNG Image which requires in many cases. You can mix the two images. You can put the arrow, circle or any other symbols on the image to highlight the part of the image. Snagit has many inbuilt symbols available for editing. You can put text above the image. The window provides PAINT as inbuilt software for image editing. It is not much powerful any easy to use. In below snap, you can see the list of available and captured images in Snagit. Snagit will collect all captured images for future use.
In the below image, you can see the different icons for different features. You can place the different borders. You can blur the image. You can change a color shade of the image. You can see the different types of border available in below captured image. The crop is the basic functionality in the image editor. Snagit will give smart resizing. This feature is very much useful in image editing. I tried to do the same in MSPaint, but I am not able to do it. and again it is very much fast to work with Snagit. You can add the text at any place. Text handling is pretty good in Snagit then other image editing tool. All this thing you can do it adobe Photoshop which specially designed for Image handling. Professional photographers use it. Snagit you can use as the handy tool for image editing for your article writing.
Snagit provides a variety of arrow and markers. You can choose collates according to your need. Like MSPaint, it will give you eraser and color filler for your own painting. You can create your own paint or image easily using Snagit. It has inbuilt shape cutter. In its library, we can find lots of shapes which you can use to make your own design. After making an image, you can directly output it to excel or ppt in a single click.

Camtasia
You can get it for free as demo version. It has many professional effects. Best among all for screen capture. Widely used by professional video maker. This is the best software I have used ever.
CamStudio
This software is available at no cost. I have found one but with this software. I have observed green screen problem with this while recording. It will occupy more memory and ram for video.
Jing
It is again from Techsmith. You have less feature than Camtasia but still better than Snagit. You can put text box and highlight spot is possible with this software.
UTipu TipCam
Zoom in, zoom out is possible in it. There is other software like Wink, UltraVNC, CaptureFox and Krut are software used for the same purpose.
