To check your income tax refund status, you need to log in to income tax India site. Now it is automatically done. So you can see and raise a request also. You can call the toll-free number which is mentioned on a site.
You need to log in with your PAN card and Date of birth. Select the security question if doing it the first time. You can reset your password easily if you forgot it. After login, you can see the status of each year. You can see a date of filing and date of the acknowledgment. If you want to take a print then you can take a print of acknowledgment and receipt id also.

- 1800 180 1961 for income tax related query.
- 1800 425 2229 for rectification and refund.
- 1800 4250 0025 for e-filling and of returns.
You can also see form 26AS to see your deduction by months also. Now it is easy to apply for PAN card also. Day by day service is getting improved. So please use it for your convenience. Do it yourself rather than giving somebody else for you. Make yourself safe by doing it in your way. I have planned do it by myself from next year onward. Hope you will do the same.
